The new product is designed to dramatically increase process efficiency and eliminate 80 percent of hand-cleaning.

“We’ve nicknamed the Restoration Pro RP3® System, ‘Rolling Thunder’, because it is an ideal product for restoration companies that don’t do a lot of contents but want to get into it with all the power and performance of a full system, or don’t have a lot of room to install a full system. The RP3 fits into an 8-foot space, is completely mobile and is perfect for on-site cleaning when necessary,” said Frank Pedeflous, CEO of Omegasonics.

The cleaning unit has a high-frequency speaker at the bottom of the second stage that creates sound waves. These sound waves consequently create millions of bubbles and as each bubble hits a surface, it implodes, ripping the dirt off of the surface.

Uses For An Assembly line

Large restoration companies that already have a full ultrasonic assembly line cleaning system will want this unit for doing on-site work where a pack-out is either not practical or allowed.

Also, some companies have multiple locations and a central processing plant, and this unit is designed to be used in a satellite location to cut down on shipping expenses of having a truck move items hundreds of miles to the central plant.

Omegasonics will unveil their newest cleaning unit at the 2011 Contractor Conference (Booth 415), May 16-20 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif. Please visit their website for more information on their booth and the cleaning unit.

About Omegasonics

Omegasonics, a global manufacturer of ultrasonic cleaning systems, designs and manufactures a complete line of industrial ultrasonic cleaning systems, biodegradable cleaning agents, supplies and accessories.
