1. What is ultrasound and how does it work?<\/strong><\/summary>

Ultrasound is sound at a frequency higher than human ears can register. Our technology involves generating ultrasonic frequency sound, and transmitting through a tank of water. The sounds caused microscopic bubbles (invisible to the naked eye) to form on surfaces. These bubbles then implode (collapse), creating a “vacuum” effect, and removing material from the surface. Yes. Omegasonics is well known for our custom capabilities. Customers include NASA, various branches of the US military, every major rocket production company, aerospace, power plant service providers, and many more. We can customize size, controls, functions, and more. We can also supply ultrasonic transducer retrofit packages for your existing tank. 4. Does Omegasonics offer any discounts off retail prices?<\/strong><\/summary>

Yes. Occasionally Omegasonics will offer quarterly or inventory-clearing specials on many of our ultrasonic machines. Please contact our sales office for details.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

5. Can ultrasonic cleaning soaps be purchased in quantities other than 5 gallons?<\/strong><\/summary>

For some soaps, 5 gallons is the minimum quantity. We usually offer 55 gallon drums as well. Some soaps may come in 1 gallon or other sized containers. Contact Omegasonics with any questions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

6. Is it possible to see an ultrasonic parts washing system operate before purchasing?<\/strong><\/summary>

Our website and YouTube channel include many examples of our equipment in action. If you are serious about making a purchase, ask us about sending your parts in for test cleaning which we will video and make notes of the process, and send back to you for evaluation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Are service technicians available for service calls?<\/strong><\/summary>

Omegasonics ultrasonic cleaning equipment is generally designed to be field repairable. Our ultrasonic floor models utilize plug-and-play technology that allows most users to troubleshoot using videos and articles on our website, or contact the factory for over-the-phone customer support and easy replacement of any defective component. It is very rare that a floor model would require a service technician. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

8. Can parts be sent into Omegasonics for test cleaning prior to purchasing?<\/strong><\/summary>

Yes. Many clients have sent parts to Omegasonics for test cleaning. We prefer that multiple parts be sent so that we can determine the proper chemistry, the proper dilution ratio, heat, time and orientation to the ultrasonic transducer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

9. What is the warranty on the Omegasonics ultrasonic parts cleaning machines?<\/strong><\/summary>

The warranty on our ultrasonic parts cleaning machines is two (2) years.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

10. What is the delivery time?<\/strong><\/summary>
\n

Delivery is a function of the type of unit purchased, and current demand. Ultrasonic floor models are sometimes available from stock, but can take up to eight(8) weeks.
